Aeronautical Parts Technology Seminar Successfully Held in Hong Kong

Jointly organized by Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) and Hong Kong Surface Finishing Society, “Upgrading Hong Kong Surface Finishing Industries:Aeronautical Parts Technology Seminar” was successfully held in Hong Kong on 18th Sep 2015.

51 participants, including directors, technical managers, and engineers from 40 aerospace related companies attended this Seminar. The seminar was organized to help Hong Kong manufacturers and surface finishing companies to better understand the market trends and the accreditation and management system certifications that are required to enter global aerospace market, and also to discuss the feasibility and proposals for upgrading the surface finishing industry in Hong Kong.

Mr. Liu Le – Manager, PRI Asia Pacific, Prof. Jackson Ho –Department of Mechanical Engineering, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Dr. Wai Yin Lo –Senior Consultant, HKPC delivered presentations respectively on the topic of “How to Achieve Nadcap Accreditation and Getting into the global aerospace market”, “How surface finishing technologies match up with the market development of aerospace industry” and “Surface finishing and testing requirement for Aeronautical Parts”.

Mr. Eric Kwan from HKPC commented: this seminar was a great success with all guest speakers’ invaluable speech. And also, the seminar has successfully built up a closer business relationship between aviation industry player in Mainland China and Hong Kong.
