The Performance Review Institute is a not-for-profit trade association that administers the Nadcap program on behalf of the leading companies in the aerospace and defence industries, and other complementary programs for the benefit of industries where safety and quality are shared values.

Mr Hayward, who is currently the Sector Director for International & Logistics Excellence at Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, also represents Northrop Grumman Corporation as the voting member for the International Aerospace Quality Group. He has been with the company since 2004, and his previous assignments included Director of Global Quality for the Advanced Development Programs Division, Sector Director of Product Quality, and Sector Director of Enterprise Quality.

Prior to joining Northrop Grumman, Mr, Hayward served as director of Quality for Smiths Aerospace in Yakima, Washington for five years. Joe Pinto, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the Performance Review Institute, commented “Under Michael’s leadership, and with the ongoing support of all the Board members, PRI will continue to work with the aerospace and defence industries to provide robust special process supply chain oversight, professional development opportunities and to identify additional mechanisms to add value to their activities for the benefit of prime contractors, suppliers, regulatory authorities and end users.”
